Research School in Clinical Medicine

The objectives of the Postgraduate School of Clinical Medical Research are:

  • to give PhD students an optimal and effective training and supervision in methods of clinical medical research
  • to establish a network for clinical researchers, and
  • to increase the awareness of health workers, health authorities, governments and the public concerning clinical medical research and its consequences for diagnosis and treatment of disabling and life-threatening diseases

 

CCBIO Research School for Cancer Studies (RSCS)

The main goal of the RSCS is to be a scientifically stimulating and inclusive meeting place for junior researchers within various areas of cancer research, ranging from basic medical to paraclinical and clinical research environments with a common focus on translational studies of cancer biomarkers.

 

Neuro-SysMed Research School in Translational Neuroscience

The research school offers education for PhD students, and the aim is to provide students with insights into groundbreaking translational neuro-science, and being an important supplement to the established educational program in research at K1, University of Bergen. Our main vision is to provide sustainable networks of researchers and support in order to encourage young researchers to expand their promising career beyond accomplished doctoral thesis.

 

National Research School in Nutrition (NutriNOR)

NutriNOR is a national research school in Norway which was established with funding from the Research Council of Norway in 2022. NutriNOR is led by the University of Bergen. The main aim is to enhance and increase the quality of research education and the scientific and professional training of the PhD candidates.
