As an avdelingsingeniør in Prof Emmet McCormack's team, I contribute to advancing cancer research by providing operational support in the development of humanized mice models, particularly patient-derived xenografts (PDX). My current focus is on refining protocols for the generation of induced pluripotent stem cells (iPSCs) from human peripheral blood mononuclear cells (PBMCs), which are pivotal for reconstituting the immune system in murine models, thereby enhancing the evaluation of immunotherapies such as CAR T cells
