My fields of research are the development of mathematical models, numerical methods, and simulation technology for coupled problems in porous media. Much of my work is motivated by applications such as geothermal energy, subsurface energy storage, and CO2 storage. I also lead the development team for the open-source simulator PorePy, which targets multiphysics processes in fractured porous media.
