Elise took a master's degree in molecular biology at the University of Bergen, where she studied the correlation between ageing cells and Parkinsons disease. She is currently taking a PhD at the Centre for Elderly and Nursing Home Medicine (SEFAS) on the project "ActiveAgeing". Her PhD is focusing on new living environments for older adults and the implementation of smart-technology for this age group.
