Edwin L. Nordstrøm is a clinical psychologist in Helse Fonna and a PhD fellow of the Department of Psychosocial Science (Faculty of Psychology) at the University of Bergen, Norway. Nordstrøm researches migration and health. He is currently working on his PhD project, Clinical encounters with immigrants suffering from mental health problems. Nordstrøm is a member of the research group Society and Workplace Diversity.

Nordstrøm has over 10 years of international experience working and studying abroad. He is an international trainer and often engaged as speaker or trainer at national and international conferences and congresses. He has taught courses in cultural competence in Norway and Azerbaijan and given highly appreciated workshops in psychology in Malta, Czech Republic, The Netherlands, Turkey, Portugal, Sweden, Denmark, and England.

Nordstrøm has been doing international research at the University of Cambridge and over years been an active member in the European Federation of Psychology Students Associations (EFPSA).
