I am a vertebrate paleontologist with a background in vertebrate functional morphology and an interest in avian evolution, (island) biogeography, paleoecology and extinction. I use fossil and archaeologial bird remains from Island Southeast Asia and Scandinavia to detect long-term patterns in avian biodiversity.
