Research interests: Social research methodology (in particular survey methodology and multivariate categorical data analysis), the sociology of Pierre Bourdieu and classical European sociology/anthropology, empirical studies of social fields and social spaces, cultural sociology , the sociology of professions (in particular the journalistic profession) and the sociology of education.
