My research focus is wind energy and studying the atmospheric boundary layer. My PhD project is part of the EU-funded Lidar Knowledge Europe (LIKE) initiative. I am cooperating with Kitemill, a Norwegian startup that develops airborne wind energy power plants. The focus of the thesis will be to measure and analyze the wind throughout the atmospheric boundary layer using a Lidar device. The goal is to optimize the power-generation for this new technology.
