Jérôme Picard is an Associate Professor at the Faculty of Fine Art, Music and Design of Bergen University and a founding partner at LOCAL, focusing on urban and architectural projects related to health and aging. With over 17 years of experience, including key roles in Norway, OMA in the Netherlands, Dominique Perrault in France, Jerome moves freely between the disciplines of architecture and urbanism. He leads Greymatter, a research initiative that focuses on seniors in urban redevelopment and weaves health into daily life to imagine future compassionate communities. His work in this area has gained international recognition and awards. Jerome has a Master in Urbanism from the AA in London and a Master in Spatial Design from Ecole Boulles in Paris. He recently completed a Research fellowship with Pratt University in NYC and has been involved with several reference institutes in Europe.
