PhD project: Les voix du discours climatique – une analyse polyphonique de l’article de presse français

The voices of climate discourse – a polyphonic analysis of French news articles


The PhD project is carried out within the framework of a cotutelle between the University of Bergen and Université Grenoble Alpes.

The project falls within the field of discourse analysis and enunciative approaches (linguistique de l'énonciation) in linguistics. It aims to analyze climate change discourse in the form of written news paper articles that deal with climate change and related subjects. The project draws on theories of linguistic polyphony to examine references to sources and reported speech (references to works, references to people, more allusive references to attested points of view in the field concerned).

Le projet de thèse est réalisé dans le cadre d'une cotutelle entre l'Université de Bergen et l'Université Grenoble Alpes.

Projet – description:

Le projet s'inscrit dans le domaine de l'analyse du discours et des approches énonciatives (linguistique de l'énonciation) en linguistique. Il vise à analyser le discours climatique comme il se manifeste dans la presse écrite francophone, notamment dans les articles d'actualité traitant du changement climatique et de sujets connexes. Le projet s'appuie sur les théories de la polyphonie linguistique pour examiner les discours rapportés et d'autres formes de polyphonie.
