I'm a geochemist of a paleoclimate/ocean strain. My research here at the University of Bergen exploits the shell chemistry of fossil foraminifera, using LA-ICP-MS combined with clumped isotope analysis, to reconstruct past ocean temperatures across the Cenozoic. My current project is working within the Centre for Early Sapiens Behaviour (SapienCE) to contribute to providing a climatic context during an interval of early human technological innovations and adaptations on the South African Coast https://www.uib.no/en/sapience
