My research interests are cultural class analysis, social inequality, symbolic boundaries and hiring processes. 

In my PhD project – Gatekeeping mechanisms in the workforce: The importance of class, culture and lifestyle in recruitment processes in the Norwegian upper class – I investigate how recruitment and hiring processes take place at the top of the hierarchy, and which aspects that characterize them.
