Title of PhD work:

Passive Versus Active case-finding for tuberculosis through community-based contact screening in Pakistan: yield and treatment outcomes.


The aim of the study is to assess the impact of systematic close community contact screening of tuberculosis patients on case finding and to strengthen the routine contact screening mechanism in place in the country.
