My research interests encompass both basic and clinical science questions, especially the identification of novel biomarkers in glioblastoma (GBM) and brain tumor initiating cells. Using a combination of genetic and bioinformatic approaches to study oncogenic factors/signaling in clinically relevant GBM models, I aim to identify and characterize novel molecular mechanisms of GBM malignancies, hopefully leading to novel therapeutic intervention strategies for GBM patients.
