Physical oceanographer focusing on the polar regions. I currently work with in situ observations in the Arctic Ocean and a global earth system model (NorESM).

My main research interest has been on historical oceanographic observations north of Svalbard, Atlantic Water circulation in the Arctic Ocean, and ice-ocean interaction.

I also work as academic developer for an outreach project called "Ekte Data" and a collaboration with Amalie Skram High School where I am responsible for the oceanographic buoy "Gabriel" in Store Lungegårdsvann.
