I am a historian and medievalist working on the late medieval and early modern amendments to the Landslǫg, studying how and why the law was amended as well as the cultural and social significance of these changes. My work is especially focused on procedural law and the question of how oathtaking as proof adapted to the changing legal system of the late medieval and early modern period.
