My research is about assessing the consequences of a potential increase of surface run-off on long term Ice-sheet dynamics. In order to answer this question, I am observing Greenland Ice Sheet velocities via optical remote-sensing (Landsat-7,8 and Sentinel-2) in order to infer the state of subglacial water drainage systems. The velocities obtained will be used to constrain further modelling of the ice-sheet, which will be the second part of my PhD.
