Fieldwork conducted in London, with informants belonging to a corps/congregation within the Salvation Army. Is writing about the experiential dimension of faith, particularly from the vantage point of experiences in relation to ‘the element of appropriation', as the moment when one ‘grasps' something new, thus creating faith again and again, in a movement reconstituting one's self. Experimenting with various forms of anthropological presence in the text. Concerned with embodied knowledge, especially its emergence.
