Economic sociology, with particular emphasis on network studies and structural analysis. Several books and articles in Norwegian and international journals, especially in the areas of economic sociology, sociology of time, and social science methodology. Most recent books: Samfunnsvitenskapelige metoder (2. utgave, Fagbokforlaget 2016) og Social Research Methods: Qualitative, Quantitative and Mixed Methods Approaches (Sage 2020).
