Environmental microbiologists with many interests. Currently, I am working on the bacterial and archaeal communities of subpermafrost ground water and springs (CLIMAGAS), sea ice (N-ICE, Nansen Legacy), water (Nansen Legacy), and some smaller projects. I mainly use bioinformatic analyses, but also enjoy field and lab work. In my free time I study for a second Master in Environmental Science and lead the Sustainability Team at BIO. With this M. Sc. I am also part of the One Ocean Expedition sampling program (Microbes and Microplastic).
