Ranga has his bachelor's degree from the University of Ruhuna, Sri Lanka. He is now at the University of Bergen for a 2-year master program. The first year is traditionally taken by course work, but Ranga has already started to collect material for his thesis which will focus on morphological traits in guppies. At this stage, this involves taking photographs, which then will be analysed digitally.

This project is part of the larger guppy experiment.
