Facilities and Resources

The Fisheries Ecology and Aquaculture research group engages in a wide range of experimental and field studies.

As a result, the research group accesses a variety of facilities within the University.

We maintain a well-equipt laboratory for larval fish studies including image analysis, freeze dryer, and micro-balances. Our otolith preparation and analysis laboratory holds embedding, cutting, and polishing equipment, micorscope and imaging facilities, and a micromill for extraction of precision samples of otolith material for isotope and element analysis.
