Main content

My name is Marita, and I'm 25 years old. I'm a master student in aquaculture biology where I work with the growth and spawning of vase tunicate (Ciona intestinalis). Vase tunicate are characterized by a rapid growth, early maturation and high reproductive output. In addition to this, the protein content is high, so this can be a good feed resource for animals. My supervisor for this master thesis are Dr. Thorolf Magnesen from the University of Bergen.Â
