Dynamics between global and national discourses on fertility control and abortion

In the SAFEZT project Haldis Haukanes participates in research mainly related to the project's Component A which seeks to explore the dynamics between global and national discourses on fertility control and abortion.

Fieldwork: Together with Mulumebet Zenebe students at Addis Ababa University, Ethiopia, where interviewed about fertility control and abortion September 2016. Haldis will also team up with Getnet Tadele, Karen Marie Moland and Astrid Blystad in their follow-up to generate information about law, policy and public discourse in order to map the structural and ideational landscapes of fertility control and abortion in Ethiopia and Tanzania in March 2017. Fieldwork in Zambia where Charles Michelo will join the team is planned for September 2017.
