Information and innovation play an increasingly important role in modern society. The emergence of the Internet and technological developments in general have made legal rules concerning the processing of information and the promotion of innovation, such as the rules on intellectual property rights and the processing of personal data, more important.

The research group for information and innovation law brings together researchers at the legal faculty at the University of Bergen working with these subjects and acts as a forum for academic discussions. On this page we will convey news within our research fields and activities and events organized by the research group.

The research group is led by Associate professor Torger Kielland and Associate professor Knut Martin Tande.
