Human growth factors for stem cell therapy
Collaborative project under the Bergen Stem Cell Consortium receives funding.
As part of the Bergen Stem Cell Consortium, the Tissue Engineering Group and Dept. of Immunology & Transfusion Medicine, Haukeland University Hospital, initiated a project in 2017, to develop a human-derived growth factor supplement for stem cell expansion. The aim is to validate the product for clinical applications and to scale-up and transfer the production to the upcoming Ex Vivo GMP Facility at Haukeland University Hospital, which will support clinical trials of stem cell therapy. The project is supported by the Bergen Technology Transfer Office - Bergen Teknologioverføring AS (BTO)
The project has received funding from Helse Vest (2017) and Helse Bergen (2018).
