BodPod is the gold standard for measuring body composition in both adults and children.

Main content

BodPod measures weight, body volume, fat, fat-free mass such as bones, muscles and organs, as well as lung volume.
The measurement is quick to perform and takes about 5 minutes. Total time for implementation and processing of results is approximately 15 minutes. BodPod is accurate and is considered the gold standard for measuring body size. BodPod uses the total density of the body to calculate fat and fat free mass. This is determined by measuring mass and volume.
Measurement of body composition can be used as an indicator of health state. It can be a contribute to assess potential risk of developing diabetes and cardiovascular disease. Also, it can be used to decide whether a diet or exercise program works as desired.
BodPod is safe and can also be used by children up to 6 years. With additional equipment, it can be used by children younger than 6 years.
