Section for Information and System Administration
The Section for Information and System Administration is a central administrative unit at the Division of Student Affairs.
Main content
Student recruitment, academic information and marketing of degrees and programmes at UiB are some of the main areas of activities and services for the section. The section has editorial responsibilities for the education information on uib.no and for the information material produced by the section.
In August the section organizes a welcoming ceremony for all the new students and co-ordinates the annual mentor week.
The section is responsible for the system administration for the administrative ICT systems at the department. This responsibility also includes user support and courses for the academic and administrative staff. Reports and quality assurance are also important tasks for the section.
