Who may visit?

International PhD-students and academics are welcome to apply for an individual research/teaching stay at the department for a shorter or longer period. We are also positive to accommodate short-term staff and teaching mobility as long as it is practically possible and academically relevant.

What we can offer

Guests invited to spend time at the department are welcome to participate in relevant seminars, workshops and research groups during their stay. It is expected that visitors contribute in relevant academic activities.

PhD-students may apply for admission to relevant PhD-courses and other courses of interest during their stay.

We will provide necessary IT-accounts and access to library and computer facilities at the university. Office space (shared or individual) can only be granted on availability as the number of office spaces are limited.

All guests must have a contact person during their stay. If you do not already have a contact among our staff we will identify one for you.

Visitors must primarily be self-funded.

Potential visitors are encouraged to apply by using this application form.

Visits from existing partner universities may be prioritized. The department welcome many international guests each year and we may not be able to accommodate all request due to practical circumstances.
