UIB will not recommend extension of work permit if the student is delayed for more than one semester. It will be up to UDI to decide if the student can be granted work permit extension. For more information, please check UDI regulations, 8.1.1 Renewal of residence permit for students and 8.1.4. Conditions for continued right to work part-time.

Please note that a delay of more than one year that is not related to documented illness or maternity leave will not be approved by UDI.
