EU/EEA/EFTA Nationals: Register and visit the Police Station

EU/EFTA citizens (short term students) who will be staying in Norway less than 6 months must register with the police online after arrival in Norway:

• Register throught SUA's Application Portal. 
• You do not need to visit Service Centre for Foreign Workers (SUA). Online registration is sufficient. 
• You do not need to hand in the documents personally to complete the registration.

EU/EFTA citizens who will be staying in Norway for more than 6 months: 

1. Register through SUA's Application Portal.
2. An appointment will be assigned to you. 
3. Bring the following documents to your SUA allocated appointment.
   • Passport/National ID card (original). Gender must be stated in the passport/ID card.
   • Letter of Acceptance (printed copy)
   • European Health Insurance Card or other health insurance documentation (original or printed copy).
   • Personal declaration stating that you have sufficient funds to support yourself (printed and signed copy).
   • Copy of tenancy agreement.

You must complete the online registration at SUA 's application portal before your visit them.
