About the Master's Graduation Ceremony
The Master's Graduation Ceremony will be held on Friday 6 June, 2025, at the University Aula in Bergen. The ceremony starts at 03:00 pm, and the programme lasts until approximately 4:30 pm. Please note that registration of candidates starts at 2:15 pm.
This ceremony is for those who have completed their degree and submitted their master's thesis in the fall of 2024, and those who will submit their master's thesis by the end of the spring semester of 2025. To ensure that as many master's candidates as possible can attend, it is only possible to bring one guest. If there is room for more guests after the registration deadline, the remaining seats will be made available at the end of May.
You will not receive your diploma during the ceremony. Read more about how to order your academic transcript her.
Registration
Invitations to the ceremony go out to those candidates who submitted their master's thesis in the autumn of 2024, and those who will submit their master's thesis by spring semester of 2025. The registration link will be ready at the end of March and will be available in UiB's calendar? (uib.no/en/svf/calendar). We have rolling registration, so it's first come, first served. Registration will automatically close when the capacity of the University Aula is reached, or at the latest on Thursday, May 22 at 11:55 PM. This is a popular event, so don't wait too long to sign up.

About the diploma
The Master's Graduation Ceremony is a celebration of students that recently have or soon will complete their master's degree. You will not receive your diploma during the ceremony. The reason for this is that the examination results for the spring semester are not yet ready for many of our candidates. More information about how to order your diploma.
All diplomas and transcripts from UiB will be produced digitally. You will find your results and degree obtained at www.vitnemalsportalen.no. Through the Diploma Registry (Vitnemålsportalen), you can share your results (grades) and degrees (diplomas) with others as needed. Should you need a diploma on paper, you can read more about how to order your academic transcript her.
