EndNote is a tool for managing your references, its main features being:
- Import of references from a database
- Editing and organizing of references
- Inserting references to a word processor such as Microsoft Word

Examples to demonstrate EndNote features are based on topics in medicine and health sciences, using major subject databases.

EndNote X9 is installed on all computers in the course room. Participants are advised to use the program actively during the course.

The course language is English unless all participants speak Norwegian. A minimum of 5 participants is required for this course, maximum 16 participants.

EndNote is also available for download to personal computers via the University of Bergen IT department.
In case you want to use your own computer during the course, make sure EndNote is installed beforehand, as there is no time for setup during the course.

EndNote online is a web-based version of Endnote that is not subject of this course. However, you can find more information about EndNote online on the University Library's homepage.
