As a researcher or research advisor, you may be interested in adding publication-related statistics to a CV when writing applications.
This short seminar aims to provide practical how-tos for doing this, as well as ideas for moving beyond the h-index and citations. We will cover:
- Different types of statistics available
- Which sources can be used for citation statistics
- How to get these data from various sources
- Limitations for certain subjects and publication types
The tools we will touch on include ORCiD, Web of Science, Scopus, Google Scholar, Microsoft Academic, Altmetric ++
