Popular Science Talks at the Library

In this lecture, associate professor and radiochemist Tom Christian Holm Adamsen will talk about teranostics - nuclear methods against cancer. Theranostics is a combination of therapy and diagnostics. The field is among the fastest growing in medicine - and Bergen is in the driver's seat. Chemists at Haukeland Hospital produce fresh, radioactive drugs that are used in the diagnosis and treatment of various forms of cancer. How do these actually work? The talk will be held in Norwegian.

The event will last about 30-45 minutes: Coffee and cookies will be served. Everyone is welcome!
