This is an open event for all researchers and students interested to know more about and participate in the SANORD network and research collaboration between UiB/HVL and institutions in the Southern African region.

Southern African - Nordic Centre (SANORD) is an association of institutions for higher education and research. The objective is to promote strategic, multilateral academic cooperation between institutions in the Nordic region and the regions of Southern Africa.
UiB is a founding member of SANORD, now counting more than 50 member Universities in the Nordic and Southern African region.
The director of SANORD, Mr. Umesh Bawa (University of Western Cape), is visiting UiB in April.
