Nytt prosjekt om norske komponister fra det 20. århundre
Senter for Griegforskning deltar i et nystartet kunstnerisk forskningsprosjekt ved Universitetet i Bergen, Griegakademiet - Institutt for musikk: '(Un-) settling Sites and Styles: Performers in Search of New Expressive Means'.
The project is based on a repertoire of compositions from Norwegian composers of the 20th century, such as Harald Sæverud, Fartein Valen and Geirr Tveitt. It springs from a pilot project on Geirr Tveitt organized by the Grieg Centre and supportet by Bergen Universtitetsfond in 2015 and 2016. The title of the centre's sub-project is
Expressive Sites and Intimate Relationships: The Relational Practice of Chamber Music in Norway.
