(Un-)settling Sites and Styles - Artistic research project
The Grieg Research Centre participates in a new three-year artistic research project at the Grieg Academy awarded a NKR 3.7 million grant from the Norwegian Artistic Research Programme.
The project is based on a repertoire of compositions from Norwegian composers of the 20th century, such as Harald Sæverud, Fartein Valen and Geirr Tveitt. It springs from a pilot project on Geirr Tveitt organized by the Grieg Centre and supportet by Bergen Universtitetsfond in 2015 and 2016. The title of the centre's sub-project is Expressive Sites and Intimate Relationships: The Relational Practice of Chamber Music in Norway.
