Information meeting about IT services

Security of IT systems is an increasingly important issue. Department of informatics is in close collaboration with the University of Bergen’s IT division to secure that all our IT services comply with the rules and regulation of our university and of the Norwegian state.
The IT division has now appointed a team to help us secure the IT services at our department. That team will visit each research group, and they will explain and perform the necessary changes in the computers used by the group, and services provided by the department, so that everything is secured. At the same time we will of course give high importance to flexibility and user friendliness, so that all research groups can continue to perform their research in the best possible way.
