In this presentation, David Carrillo-Rangel, PhD candidate at the University of Bergen, will explore from the perspective of queer theory the materiality of history, based on the selection of fragments exhibited at Bryggen Museum.
In their talk, Carrillo-Rangel will debate how time is construed showing that the past is always enunciated by a biased present and aiming at a nuanced apprehension of the implications of this fact.
