SOURCE-TO-SINK SCALING RELATIONSHIPS

Hovedinnhold

SCIENTIFIC FOCUS

Compile and analyse global morphological datasets of modern sedimentary systems to create morphological and sedimentological scaling relationships of segments on the entire source-to-sink system. These can then be used for prediction of spatial distribution of reservoir-source-seal relationships in the ancient. Apply S2S concepts to a tightly constrained subsurface example (e.g. Troll area, NNS) by combining analysis of 3D sesimic and well data with results from global database
