A new generation of solar cell technologies

Hovedinnhold

Professor Dhayalan Velauthapillai, HVL, will talk about “A new generation of solar cell technologies” at the energy lab lunch meeting Tuesday 19th November.

Abstact:

In search of flexible, low cost and high efficient solar cells, the PV research community has been working on a number of new generation solar cell technologies, and new knowledge on nanomaterials has contributed enormously to this advancement. Advanced Nanomaterials for Clean Energy and Health Applications (ANCEHA)  (www.anceha.no) research group led by Prof. Dhayalan Velauthapillai at HVL has been conducting research on emerging solar cell technologies in collaboration with international partners. In this talk, a brief review on the activities at ANCEHA on emerging solar cell technologies will be given.

The lunch meeting takes place at Ground floor, room C113 at Western Norway University of Applied Sciences (Høgskulen på Vestlandet – HVL), Kronstad, Bergen.

The seminar will be held from 12:15 to 13:00 (we open the doors at 12:00).

As always it is free and open to all interested parties, so bring your lunch and join us for an interesting presentation followed by a Q&A session.
