Angeliki Barouti
My name is Angeliki Barouti, and I am a PhD candidate in the Chemistry department.
I have been to UiB for almost two years now, and I have had the chance to connect with many of you and understand the challenges PhD candidates and temporary staff face. That’s why I’d like to get involved in the decision-making process and ensure that our opinions and needs will be heard at the faculty level. I’d like to bring a fresh perspective and work collaboratively with the board to create a more supportive and equitable environment for all employees.
I will do my best to help my co-workers, whether addressing day-to-day problems or aiming for larger changes that benefit us all. I welcome any and all conversations, concerns, or suggestions on how to make our working environment better for everyone.
Susan Sen
My name is Susan Sen and I am a postdoc at Kjemisk Institutt. I am standing for election this year as a representative of Group B.
Temporary employees are a significant part of the employees but often neglected considering the temporary nature of the position. I believe that the temporary employees should have a representator at the faculty level.
I am confident of representing all Group B employees and conveying their voice at the proper level.
Mathias Brevik
My name is Mathias Brevik and I am currently working on my PhD in chemistry. From my previous studies, I have gained experience from both the boards of faculty and chemistry department, and I would like to continue to represent my colleagues. It is particularly important to me to maintain and improve transparency and communication within the faculty, which is essential for us temporary employees. I hope that you will allow me to represent Group B, and my door is always open if there are any questions!
