EECRG celebrations

Congratulations to John and Alistair on their recent successes

At their group meeting on 17 March 2017, the EECRG celebrated the successes of John Birks and Alistair Seddon with champagne and cake. John has been awarded a 5-year European Research Council grant called HOPE (Humans On Planet Earth) worth 2.27 million Euros. Alistair won the Meltzer Young Researcher Prize - a prize that Ørjan had been awarded some years previously! Group leader John-Arvid Grytnes congratulated John and Alistair and Head of Department Ørjan Totland added his congratulations. We are all immensely proud of John and Alistair.
