In this roundtable we would like to invite the participants to engage in an open and critical discussion of aspects around global health that are difficult, contradictory or paradoxical.

Ole Frithjof Norheim
Professor of medical ethics and philosophy of science at the Department of Global Public Health and Primary Care, UiB. Professor Norheim is the scientific director of Bergen Summer Research School 2018.

Astrid Blystad
Professor in the Research group for global health anthropology, Centre for International Health, Department of Global Public Health and Primary Care. Her research focuses on the articulation between global health policy texts and 'local' experience.

Roger Strand
Professor at the Centre for the Study of the Sciences and the Humanities and associated with the Centre for Cancer Biomarkers, University of Bergen. His research focus is uncertainty and complexity at the interfaces between science and society.
