The summer school took place 17.-28. of September, 2018. The venue was Finse Alpine Research Center in Hardangervidda National Park, Norway, and the topic was "Hemispheric Asymmetry in Climate".

Target: Advanced PhD candidates and early career scientists.

Goal: To mix students and lecturers with empirical/proxy and dynamical training within climate science and focus on understanding the basic principles and dynamics behind past, present and future hemispheric asymmetry in climate.
