Welcome Renee Hageman!

For the upcoming five months Renee will be joining the geomicrobiology group of Steffen Leth Jørgensen as an internship for her master degree at the university of Utrecht located in the Netherlands.

She will compare gene abundance for various biochemical pathways and chemical depth profiles of sediment cores from the Nordic Seas. From these profiles, the reaction rates and governing fluxes caused by the microbial community will be determined.
