About the presenter

Rosita Zilli is Senior Policy Officer at EERA, the European Energy Research Alliance. In this capacity, she is responsible for analysing and defining strategies related to EU and international legislation linked to the clean energy transition, as well as fostering relationships with institutions active in this domain. Prior to that, she served as Deputy Secretary-General at Euro Coop, the European Community of Consumer Co-operatives, and worked in the field of international cooperation in Bosnia and Herzegovina. Currently based in Brussels, Rosita Zilli holds a degree in International Affairs and Diplomacy from the University of Trieste (Italy).

Abstract

The webinar will guide the audience through the latest updates on the European energy policy landscape, with a particular emphasis on the European Union’s policies in the field. Files such as the Electricity Market Design reform, the Net Zero Industry Act, and the Critical Raw Materials Act will be thoroughly explored, along with the main political and institutional changes on the horizon in view of the 2024 European Parliament elections.
