LEXplain

The use of artificial intelligence for legal decision-making challenges lawʼs legitimacy.

LEXplain investigates the legal explainability requirement in both historical, cross-jurisdictional and empirical dimensions and probes into how hybrid-AI might be a solution to the rule of law concerns associated with black boxed AI.

The project is funded by the Research Council of Norway and is a collaboration between the University of Bergen and the University of Copenhagen.
