Anders Jahres Prize awarded Yenan Bryceson

On October 17, Yenan Bryceson received Anders Jahres Prize for young researchers for his outstanding research on natural killercells and congenital blood disorders. The prize was awarded by the University of Oslo.

Yenan Bryceson has his primary employment at Karolinska Instituttet, Stockholm, and has, since 2012, been Professor II at Broegelmann Research Laboratory, Department of Clinical Science, University of Bergen. He has his basic education – bachelor and master – from the University of Oslo. Between 2003-2008 he conducted research at National Institute of Health, Bethesda, USA, and later obtained his PhD at Karolinska Instituttet through a “Graduate Partnership Program”. Bryceson has up until now published approximately 50 scientific articles and several of these are featured in highly rated immunological journals. In 2012 he received a European Research Council Starting Grant (ERC StG).
